(A Message from the President)

In 1859, Fukuzawa Yukichi, a renaissance man learned in Dutch, followed his desire to see European languages for himself and journeyed twelve hours on foot, here to Yokohama.
It was then, upon seeing those foreign European languages for himself that he was left stunned, unable to read even a single word before him.

Over 150 years have come and gone since then and English, the once incomprehensible foreign language, has continued to carry the mantle of the world’s lingua franca.
English as a medium for international communication, the various languages spoken in countries across the world, the unique technologies these countries each excel in, and their individual cultures;
these are all things that are translated here in Yokohama, this city where English is said to have been first introduced to Japan. Providing these translations to our customers is what we find joy in, what we are proud to do.

Our translations are more than just that however, they are an instrument for our customers’ prosperity and growth. It is with this as our guiding principle that we continue forth, taking on each task with sincerity.
